Our practice, started in 1937 by W. Kenneth Riland, D.O., is the oldest osteopathic practice in Manhattan. Dr. Riland, together with Vice President, Nelson Rockefeller, were co-founders of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Waldron’s Alma Mater, Dr. Brian Waldron, his protégée and student, joined the practice over 30 years ago. He continues the caring tradition of tending the needs of the whole person. Many patients come from families who have been in the practice over multiple generations. By the same token, newcomers of all ages - from newborns, teens, adults and seniors - are welcome in this osteopathic practice.
